The newly opened Hilton hotel in Yas Island has a total number of 545 rooms and suites along with a conference center including a huge ballroom of capacity 1000+ persons!

After a 10-year management directed by Jumeirah group, the famous Etihad Towers facing Emirates Palace have now been renamed to Conrad and are operating now under the direction of Hilton group.

EMIRATES PALACE

‍Mandarin Oriental took over the management of the property after Kempinski. This is the Mandarin Oriental’s second hotel in the United Arab Emirates, following the opening of Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah in Dubai.

The hotel will be rebranded as a Mandarin Oriental property, following a phased renovation over two years: during this time the hotel will remain open. The work will encompass significant upgrades to guest rooms and recreational amenities, as well as new food and beverage facilities.

AL QANA, THE BRIDGE

INSIDE THE EMPTY QUARTER: THE DESERT OASIS OUTSIDE OF ABU DHABI

The Rub’ al Khali is the largest expanse of sand in the world, its skyscraping dunes and otherworldly salt flats crossing borders into four countries: Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.

“Rub' al Khali" means "the Empty Quarter," and indeed this has become a recognized term for the area, a desert second only in size to the Sahara. Considered the best desert in terms of sand color and dunes height in the Emirates, above all if you are heading Liwa directions located 2 hours away from central Abu Dhabi where you will explore a lot of virgin spots in the desert and be the first one to leave your foot mark on it without forgetting its luxury hotel Anantara Qasr al Sarab. ‍

Qasr Al Sarab translates to "mirage palace," and its large size paired with relatively small number of guest rooms means privacy and high standard. The 154 rooms and 42 multi-bedroom villas, the latter with its own pools and terraces, only opened in 2009 to become the flagship Anantara property in the Middle East.

A part of the annual F1 races takes place every year on Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Circuit, mostly end of November / beginning of December, to which groups can attend. During the rest of the year, we can use the circuit for selfdrive activities, meetings & events in paddocks! It reminds us that everyone can be a racer and drive one of the fastest cars on Yas Circuit while increasing his adrenaline level and reach 240 km/h! Engine sounds in the circuit give you great vibes and excitement. Not only fast cars, but also karting and many other activities are available on this fantastic circuit.

ON THE WINE ROUTES OF GEORGIA

The best place to travel in Georgia in autumn is Kakheti, the birthplace of wine and Georgia’s most gorgeous region, to be the winemaking hub. It is a charming place full of history, with vast vineyards, beautiful sights and of course, delicious wine.

Rtveli (the grape harvest) is Georgia’s most inspiring time of the year. It begins in autumn, by end of September and lasts for several weeks. So, if you want to feel as a part of Georgian traditions and culture, you should take part in this special process. Almost every family in Kakheti region with the help of neighbors and friends picks up grapes and makes wine!

You will get up early (just kidding!) to collect the grapes, then get your feet wet by pressing the juice, you will see what a marani looks like (wine cellar) and you will be a part of the famed supra (Georgian feast) led by a tamada (toast master) at the end of the day. There will be singing and dancing, tons of delicious food and… of course, exceptional wine!

It is the most wonderful opportunity to get to know local culture and people!
